Connect to a Access Point

Here it will explain how to connect your radio to a AP.

Discover an AP
– Point your Radio in the direction of your nearest AP.
– Ensure you have Line of Sight to the AP you are trying to join
– (If only a short distance away you may be able to get away with limited Line of Sight
– Do a Site Survey from the Ubiquiti AirOS web GUI.
– Select the SSID you want to join.
– Enter the WPA2 Credentials – These can found on another Knowledge Base Article
– Set your radio network configuration to use DHCP.
– Mount your radio hardware to an existing mast or new mast
– Align the radio using the Align setting
– Lower dBm is better than higher.
